Sebastian Górecki is a seasoned leader and innovator with expertise in mechatronics, computer science, and robotics. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Mechatronics, Computer Science, and Robotics Section at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Łódź Institute of Technology. In this role, he is responsible for strategic leadership, overseeing R&D projects, and managing an interdisciplinary team. His work involves designing, planning, and implementing research initiatives that meet the highest standards, as well as fostering collaborations with industry partners. Sebastian is also pursuing a PhD focused on precision monitoring in agriculture and apiculture through the integration of IoT and artificial intelligence. His doctoral research explores innovative approaches to acoustic data analysis and environmental monitoring in beekeeping, contributing to sustainability and advancements in precision farming. As the founder of Intelligent Hives, Sebastian has revolutionized precision apiculture by developing an IoT-based hive monitoring system now used worldwide. This system employs advanced algorithms to detect anomalies and monitor bee health, supporting sustainable agriculture. With a robust background in telecommunications, computer science, and an MBA, Sebastian actively engages in projects involving IoT and AI, such as BLE 5G gateways for monitoring the elderly. His professional focus lies in creating practical and innovative solutions, highlighting his role as a thought leader in technological research and environmental monitoring. In recent years, Sebastian has also expanded his research into the field of medicine, telemedicine, and oncology diagnostics. He is actively involved in developing advanced AI-driven solutions for early cancer detection, including remote diagnostic tools and digital pathology systems. These innovations aim to transform patient care by improving access to timely and accurate diagnoses, particularly in underserved areas.
